​Take Things Apart
If you have large items with big open spaces within them, breaking them down will minimize the amount of room those items take up. This can also apply to oddly shaped items.
 

Group and Organize
Rather than simply throwing items into a dumpster and letting each land as it may, try laying items flat instead. Group similar shaped items to eliminate gaps.
 

Load Evenly
Avoid filling up one end of the dumpster to the top before adding contents to the other end. Your pile is likely to collapse, cause a mess, and become a safety issue.  Instead, load it evenly from the bottom up.
 

Do Not Overfill
Avoid filling your dumpster past the top edge. We may not be able to accept it in that condition due to safety concerns during travel and we may have to charge an extra fee. It may be more cost effective to rent a larger dumpster as opposed to paying these surcharges.
